Joint Entrance Examination [JEE Main] 2018 Admit Card:

  • Availability: The Admit Card for JEE Main 2018 will be available on the official website from the 2nd week of March (tentative).
  • Carry document: Candidates are advised to carry the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card to the examination centre as it is a mandatory document which has to be produced at the exam centre by the candidate to attend the exam.
  • Contents included: The JEE Main 2018 Admit Card contains all the information like Candidate’s Name, Address, Photo, Signature, Thumbprint, Exam Centre Details, Candidate’s Enrolment number etc.
  • Authority: National Testing Agency, the conducting authority of JEE Main will release the Admit Card for JEE Main 2018 in the month of March.

Steps to download JEE Main 2018 Admit Card:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Main 2018.
  • Step 2: In the Current Events tab, click on Download Admit Card of JEE(Main)2018
  • Step 3: Enter the Application Number, Date of Birth, Security Pin(given), and click on Login.
  • Step 4: The Admit Card for JEE Main 2018 will be displayed. Download the Admit Card and take a hard copy of it to be carried to the exam centre.

Important Notes Regarding JEE Main 2018 Admit Card:

  • Download: The candidate must download the Admit Card from the official and are advised to take a printout and keep it safe until the results are announced.
  • ID Proof: Candidates are advised to carry their Admit Card, a valid ID proof and a recent formal photograph of themselves when appearing for the JEE Main 2018.
  • Must carry: Candidates must, at all times, carry their Admit Card when they appear for the JEE Main 2018 exam.
  • Proof of participation: The candidates are advised to keep their Admit card safe for future use and as a proof of their participation in the exam.
  • Counselling: Candidates are supposed to produce their JEE Main 2018 Admit Card during the JEE Main 2018 Counselling process.
  • Biometrics:  Biometrics of candidates will be scanned at the venue of the JEE Main exam. Fingerprints, as submitted in the JEE Main 2018 application form, will be verified. Impersonation by any candidate, if found, will be disqualified from the exam centre and handed over to the concerned authorities.
  • Invigilator’s signature: Candidates are advised to make sure that they get their Admit Card signed by their Invigilator, as it is a proof of the candidate being present at the JEE Main 2018 Exam, which would be verified during Counselling.

JEE Mian 2018 Inside the Exam Hall:

  • Smoking and eating are strictly prohibited in the examination room and Tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks are not allowed to be taken into the examination rooms during examination hours.
  • No candidate, without the special permission of the Centre Superintendent or the Invigilator concerned, will leave his/her seat or Examination Room until the full duration of the paper. Candidates should not leave the room/hall without handing over their Answer Sheets to the Invigilators on duty.
  • The candidates, suffering from diabetes, are allowed to carry into the examination hall the eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/ orange) and transparent water bottle. However, the candidates are not allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/ sandwich in the examination hall.

In Case any Discrepancies in the Admit Card of JEE Main 2018:

  • If candidates come across any discrepancies in the admit card of JEE Main 2018 examination then they should immediately contact the  JEE Main Secretariat.
